26 Chicago's Old Main Post Office re-imagined, part of this year's Career Day site tour. Career Day is an educational outreach forum designed for young people who want to build careers in real estate. The two-day event is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to network with industry leaders, while gaining real-life exposure to the world of Chicago real estate. Our 12th Annual Career Day (Nov. 1-2) will feature two dynamic site tours, including the redevelopment of Chicago's Old Main Post Office, a 2.5 million square- foot art deco behemoth on the Chicago River, and a Shapack Partners property in the trendy Fulton Market neighborhood. Career Day 2018 will also include a Young Guns Dinner with "rising stars" at Gino's East, a roundtable luncheon with industry leaders, and a Career/Internship Fair. Program Spotlight: Career Day Philanthropy In Action Real Estate Education Program Spotlight: Scholar Program Meet Our 2018-19 Scholars! The Scholar Program is so much more than a scholarship. Over the course of six months, the experience provides 4-6 exceptional real estate students with the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with real estate innovators for a deep dive into the working world of real estate. The program includes partnering with a "super mentor", mentorship and career counseling sessions, access to industry events, and so much more. It culminates with a scavenger hunt at the ICSC RECon convention in Las Vegas and a scholarship of up to $5,000 per Scholar.
