9 Al Klairmont Peter Borzak Grace Lewin Al is a founding member of the organization and the creator of the Mentor Program, our cornerstone real estate education program. He chairs the Real Estate Education Committee and serves on the Executive Board. Al was recently inducted into the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Hall of Fame. What motivates you? Completing a workload that is triple that of the ordinary. If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? Isn't everybody curious about Abraham Lincoln? How old were you when you landed your first job and what did you do? I delivered newspapers at the age of 11. What is your vision for HEEF? I see the Foundation doing even more than we are currently, providing more to students and to the fight against gastrointestinal cancers. Al's secret: I'm easy to work with. Peter Borzak created the Foundation's Career Day program and has helped build it into what it is today. He serves on the Executive Board and is now leading our strategic planning efforts. How old were you when you landed your first job and what did you do? I was 16 and was a busboy at the Holiday Inn in Evanston, Illinois. If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? Nelson Mandela. He created his own inner peace in the face of unimaginable circumstances. What is your vision for HEEF? In the next five years, I see the Eisenberg Foundation being a national organization. Peter's secret: I have a pathological obsession with Hohos and Nutella. Grace Lewin serves on the Associate Board. She, along with fellow board member Diego Pacheco, leads the Foundation's Team Eisenberg efforts. Last year, Grace was the recipient of the HEEF/ICSC Foundation Scholarship. What is your favorite travel accessory? The latest issue of Vogue. If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? Sheryl Sandberg. What is your vision for HEEF? Establishing a presence in cities beyond Chicago. Grace's secret: I used to be able to swim the 100 butterfly in under one minute.
