8 Steven Weinstock Jenna Goebig Steven Weinstock serves on the Executive Board, the Real Estate Education Committee and the Annual Dinner Committee. He is a Mentor and Speaker and has recently taken on a leadership role in the new Real Estate Scholar Program. What motivates you? Coaching others, being part of a team and playing a critical role in the success of others. How old were you when you landed your first job and what did you do? When I was 9 or 10, I was a newspaper delivery boy for the Observer & Eccentric Newspaper in Metro Detroit. I ultimately added delivery of The Detroit News as well. I was already walking the route, in one pass I could deliver to so many people! What is your vision for HEEF? I see the Foundation doing incredible things in cancer research, diagnosis and treatment through our ongoing funding of the tissue bank and other programs. Also, the continued growth and impact of our educational programs in helping develop new leadership in the real estate industry. Steven's secret: I'm a Rocky Horror Picture Show fanatic! A friend and I would go to the midnight show with props such as rice, newspaper, toast and party hats and sing and dance in the aisles. Yes, I know almost every word to every song and can do the Time Warp! Jenna serves on the Associate Board. She, along with her co-chair Matt Lesh, has grown the Midwest Real Estate Challenge into what it is today. Jenna also helps with Eisenopoly and the Foundation's social media efforts. What motivates you? My family and making a positive difference. What is your favorite travel accessory? My husband! Traveling would be worthless without him. If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be? Serious answer: I'd love to have a big dinner with all those family members who are no longer with me today or that I never had the chance to meet. Less serious: Mahatma Ghandi. I want to hear him speak and share stories about his life journey of equality, freedom, peace and giving. What is your vision for HEEF? Making huge strides in cancer research and finding itself in the global cancer research spotlight. Also continuing to attract the brightest real estate students in the Midwest and nation. Jenna's secret: In a previous life, I was a competitive powerlifter. Steven Weinstock First Vice President/ Regional Manager/ Managing Broker Marcus & Millichap, Chicago Oak Brook Jenna M.
