Career Day is an educational outreach forum designed for young people who want to build careers in real estate. The two-day event is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to network with industry leaders, while gaining real-life exposure to the world of Chicago real estate amongst top professionals. Career Day 2016 (Nov. 3-4) features two dynamic site tours, including one of the riverfront Wanda Vista Tower, developed by Magellan and Dalian Wanda Group, which once completed will be 98-stories, making it the third tallest building in Chicago and the tallest building on the planet designed by a woman-owned firm (Studio Gang). The second tour will feature the Arc at Old Colony, developed by CA Ventures, which is a fully remodeled and modernized apartment building for students. Career Day 2016 will also include a Young Guns Dinner with "rising stars" at Gino's East, a roundtable luncheon with industry leaders, and a Job/Internship Fair. Here's what students have to say about Career Day: "Career Day helped me make my decision to go into real estate!" "The Career Day site tours were an invaluable way to see the concepts we learn about in action." "This is one of the best educational and networking opportunities I've ever been given." "Career Day is the best exposure I've ever had to professionals within the industry and to their experiences." "Classrooms are worthless compared to this!"
