31 In The News Harold E. Eisenberg foundation raises $500,000 for cancer research and real estate education A crowd of more than 700 business and real estate professionals attended the Seventeenth Annual Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Fundraising Dinner held at the Palmer House Hilton on Oct. 6. The event successfully raised $500,000 million to benefit the foundation's two-pronged mission of funding gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research and advancing real estate education. The organization also announced their new Real Estate Scholar program during the event, which is said to provide three outstanding students with an opportunity to work hand-in-hand with real estate innovators for a once-in-a-lifetime experience aimed to jump-start their career in real estate. The year-long experience will culminate with a $5,000 scholarship awarded to each of the students. The organization has a strong commitment to scholarship. To date, it has awarded Midwest real estate students $250,000 total. In addition to the announcement, another highlight of the night was the grand prize raffle, which gave away a 2015 Jeep Wrangler to one lucky attendee. Adam Moschin and Savas Er were the event co-chairs. Additional Media Coverage:
